Branding Package for Eventu

From zero identity to a complete brand system in under 6 weeks

In early 2025, the founders of Eventu, a new Romanian events platform, reached out to Escmap Development with a clear mission: create a brand from scratch — one that feels elegant, modern, trustworthy, and capable of attracting both venue owners and event organizers. They had no logo, no name validation, no visual assets — just a vision: to make event planning simpler and more inspiring.

What followed was a full-scope branding process, structured, collaborative, and executed in under six weeks.


🧱 Foundation – Strategy and Positioning

We began with an in-depth discovery session to define who Eventu is and what it stands for. Through research, positioning maps and persona development, we aligned on three brand pillars: inspiration, clarity, and trust. These would guide every visual and verbal element moving forward.

The name “Eventu” was retained but validated through voice-of-customer and competitive testing. We explored how the name would behave in both Romanian and international markets and aligned it with a calm, tech-forward tone.

🎨 Visual Identity System

The logo exploration phase involved three separate concepts, with the final version built around a calendar icon combined with stylized human figures — a symbol of both planning and human connection. It works seamlessly in mono, stacked, or horizontal layouts, making it flexible across print, web, and mobile platforms.

The visual identity was designed to communicate both clarity and celebration — two key emotional goals for an events platform. We opted for a color system centered on Bright Violet (#8224E3) as a distinctive primary color, supported by clean contrasts (white, black) and a bold accent red (#FF2D46) that signals action and energy.

For typography, we focused on legibility and emotional warmth:

  • Poppins was chosen for headers because of its round forms and expressiveness
  • Montserrat was used for body text, ensuring readability across formats and screen sizes

📦 Brand Collateral

The brand system expanded into over 25 pages of structured documentation — built not only to guide Eventu’s launch, but to scale with the business. Deliverables included:

  • Social media covers
  • Email signature and banners
  • Business card design
  • Icon set and usage rules
  • Do’s & Don’ts for logo applications
  • Visual patterns and illustration styles

Everything was bundled into a ready-to-use brandbook and export kit, enabling any internal or external collaborator to apply the brand without confusion.
